FAQs

  • What's the difference between training and case assistance?

At We See You, training involves developing scanning skills such as dexterity and the ability to recognize healthy tissue and anatomical landmarks. In other words, practice. It's usually performed on a compliant pet.

Case assistance is a diagnostic exam on a real patient. You'll schedule as needed, and our team will help you acquire the images to build a solid diagnostic case. Your sonographer provides an impression report for the patient following each case.

Both are performed virtually and in real time. Your sonographer will remote into your ultrasound system, view your ultrasound image, and guide you on the phone while you scan.

  • Will your service work on my ultrasound system?

With rare exceptions, we can provide support on nearly every portable and console unit on the market.

  • I currently refer out. Can your company help me provide for my patients in-house?

Yes. Whether you're losing patients and opportunities for treatment to referral centers or simply paying too much for a mobile sonographer, our team is here to help you get answers for your patients and pass those savings to your clients.

  • Can I get my cases interpreted through your company?

Yes. We integrate with radiologists, cardiologists, and internal medicine specialists. We can package and send your case for interpretation and deliver results back to you, usually within 6 hours but almost always within 24 hours.

  • My research into ultrasound has been overwhelming. Can you help me understand the shortest path to meeting my goals?

A vet technician calls for ultrasound support.

Yes. Whether you're purchasing your first system or already own one but have never used it, let's chat. We'll help you define what you need, what you don't, and the larger financial impact of a successful implementation in your hospital.

And yes, we've told plenty of people that ultrasound probably isn't for them.

We don't charge for this. Just contact us to set up a call.

  • I don't feel confident enough to do full abdominal exams and prefer to stick with POCUS for now. Are we a good fit for each other?

We get this a lot. The truth is that if you're a proficient enough scanner to do a true POCUS or FAST scan, you're a proficient enough scanner to let our team guide you through a diagnostic exam.

Our objective is to help you start doing cases so you can encounter abnormals, because that's how you become confident enough to do cases. We'll be there the whole time and will make sure you get across the finish line.

If you truly want to stick with POCUS, call us. We'll discuss a plan for your goals.

  • Do I need to schedule ahead of time with a sonographer?

You may be able to book same-day sessions by checking sonographer availability in the scheduler. However, we recommend booking one to three days ahead of time.

If you have an emergency case, call us. We'll do our best to find you a sonographer who can help you do the case.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Our sonographers are available Mon-Fri between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST.
